Our Story
Atlanta Elite Baseball Academy was founded by two former professional baseball players who saw deficiencies in the way youth baseball is coached. Utilizing a unique approach to coaching youth travel ball using data-centric methods including bat knob monitoring, ball flight monitoring, and other metrics to use objective measures of performance improvement. Featuring driveline certified coaches, coach of the year in Dekalb County, focused on development over 'ring chasing,' building a fun, family environment. Pushing players to work hard, commit, and take their skills to the next level. Solid connections with high school coaches all over town, committed to developing 'varsity ready' freshmen.
Player Development
We combine cutting-edge data and analytics, including Blast Motion and Ball Tracking Technology, to provide personalized feedback and measurable results.
Strength and Conditioning
Implement warm-up routines, strength training, agility exercises to maximize athleticism among our athletes.
Coaches
Sherman Graves
Coach Sherman Graves has a rich baseball background, including playing Division I, leading his team to the NAIA World Series, and six years in professional baseball. Trained at the renowned Driveline Baseball facility, he blends innovative, data-driven player development with 25 years of baseball experience. Now the owner of his own hitting and player development company, Coach Graves is dedicated to helping athletes improve skills and a love for the game
Harrison Moore
Coach Harrison Moore brings a wealth of experience and passion to the game of baseball. A former Division 1 & 2 player at Savannah State University & Augusta University, he went on to compete in multiple independent leagues, gaining valuable insight and expertise as a high-level athlete.
He now serves as the Head Coach at his alma mater, Stephenson High School, where his leadership and dedication earned him the honor of
2025 DeKalb County School District Coach of the Year.
