Fall - Developmental
The fall season at Atlanta Elite Baseball Academy is focused on development, learning, and building a strong foundation. This is our primary development phase, where we slow the game down, evaluate each athlete, and focus on skill acquisition, mechanical efficiency, baseball IQ, and athletic growth.
Fall training emphasizes instruction, reps, and education over results. Players receive individualized feedback, learn situational baseball, and develop a deeper understanding of the game. Games are used as learning opportunities, allowing athletes to apply what they’re working on in a competitive but low-pressure environment.
Spring/Summer - Competitive
The spring and summer seasons are where development is put into action. This phase emphasizes competing, applying training in game settings, and continuing to refine skills under pressure. While development remains the priority, players are challenged to execute, adjust, and compete against high-level competition.
Practices remain intentional and structured, but the focus shifts toward game performance, decision-making, and learning how to compete the right way. Winning is valued, but never at the expense of growth, learning, or long-term development.
